If You’re Into It – Flight of the Conchords

It’s questionable whether this meets the high standards of SOTD since it’s really kind of a parody song, and part of a larger television series. But gosh darnit if this isn’t the funniest damn show currently on television, I don’t know what is. And conveniently, HBO is making all of the episodes available on line, so you really have no reason not to watch, unless you’re completely humorless. These guys are kind of like Tenacious D, only funny, and from New Zealand.

I’ve now watched this video about 15 times.

I laughed my head off listening to this. Especially as it kept getting more elaborate and ridiculous. I guess I need to start watching this show. I love how they are the 4th most popular folk-parody band in New Zealand. Apparently the 3rd most popular band is their own tribute band. Awesome.

  • UC – What’s awesome is that the non-song portions of the show are even funnier. Their manager is hilarious. I’ve watched every episode so far, and this is probably the funniest exchange I’ve seen so far.

They also have “rap” names. Bret is the Rhymenocerous, and Jermaine the Hip-hoppopotamus.

Goddamit, Seitz. I can’t get this out of my head. Especially the refrains. Goddamit!!!

  • Have you watched any of the episodes?

  • The Uncanny Canadian

Yeah, I saw the first episode. It was brilliant: funny, sweet, awkward, and with the best binary solo I have ever heard. I really like the whole feel of the show. Very Eagle vs. Sharkesque (which also starred co-Jermaine). I know this show will become one of my faovurite shows.

  • I die laughing every time Murray is on screen. He’s hilarious.

  • Bizness Time was on last Sunday! 2 funny 4 propah grammur.
